What better way to spend a cold Sunday afternoon than exploring a disused art deco department store! It has certainly decayed severely since it’s incarnation as Scottleys in 1999, the filming location for “The Greatest Store in the World”. Having said that it’s former grandeur is still very evident in places even though the building’s guts and decor have all been ripped out over the years. We didn’t get nearly enough time to have a proper look around before the light began to fade but it was definitely worth the visit!
