A combination of waiting for a client’s initial shot selections and then simply becoming too busy to blog meant that this post had been totally forgotten about… Becoming busy is a good thing though (don’t get me wrong) as work in the freelancer’s world is often a case of feast or famine so you’d best make hay while the sun shines!
This is a selection of my shots from London Fashion Weekend 2014 which featured catwalk shows from several illustrious designers, including Julien Macdonald and Amanda Wakeley along with talks by British journalist and fashion director Hilary Alexander, OBE.
Shooting in the photographer’s pit at Somerset House was a world away from my previous catwalk experience. Our area was mah-hoo-sive (comparatively speaking) and not having to fight quite so hard for your square foot really made for a much friendlier atmosphere.
